AI car design software
Bespoke AI is AI car design software that takes an automotive sketch to a CAS-oriented NURBS surface model. It generates consistent side, front, rear and three-quarter views, reconstructs a scaled 3D body, allows parametric morphing of wheelbase, overhangs and greenhouse, and exports IGES or STEP surfaces aligned to the Alias grid.
The automotive workflow
Each stage is usable on its own, and every stage feeds the next.
- Sketch or photo in; four rendered proposals out.
- Automatic orthographic view generation with correct automotive proportions (roughly 3.5:1 to 4:1 side ratio).
- Image-to-3D body reconstruction at real vehicle scale.
- Marshmallow parametric morphing for wheelbase, overhangs, ride height and cabin.
- BeSplines 2.2 primary curves, patch layout and NURBS surfacing.
- Design review overlays, dimensioning and diagnostic shading for surface quality.
Interiors
The interior theme uses cinematic camera paths and a dedicated cockpit reconstruction pass that cleans transparent surfaces, rather than reusing the exterior orthographic pipeline.
Working inside Alias and Blender
The Autodesk Alias add-on runs image generation, parametric morphing and BeSplines 2.2 from inside Alias Surface. The Blender add-on generates images, meshes and NURBS without leaving Blender.
Frequently asked questions
- Can AI generate CAS surfaces for cars?
- Bespoke AI generates a structured curve network and NURBS patch layout oriented toward production surfacing conventions, with diagnostic shading to inspect continuity. Final surfacing sign-off still involves a surfacing designer, but the manual rebuild stage is removed.
- Does it keep proportions consistent across views?
- Yes. The front view is generated first and passed as a visual reference to every subsequent view so wheels, rims, tyres and body lines stay consistent.
- Can I change proportions after generation?
- Yes. Marshmallow parametric morphing adjusts wheelbase, overhangs, ride height and greenhouse on the reconstructed body, and only the affected geometry is regenerated.
